A well-respected company, in St. Louis, is searching for a Controller to assist in leading their organization. They plan for this professional to come on board, complement their team and assist in their continued growth. This is a great opportunity to join a solid team with stability!
For this opportunity, candidates will need to be degreed in accounting/finance, have 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, have served in similar roles, experience in the financial services industry is a plus, strong technical accounting and finance experience. Candidates will need to be pro-active in their approach, professional and an effective communicator and leader.

You Offer:
Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles
Experience as an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller
Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory
Enjoy relationship building and empowering their team
Experience to include accounting, finance, compliance, budgeting and forecasting
GAAP
Must enjoy hands-on leadership roles
Effective and positive team leader
You Will Be Engaged In:
Assist the Executive Team
Responsible for all accounting/finance processes
Enjoys serving in hands-on Controllership roles
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial reporting
Month/Year end close
Process improvement initiatives and cost savings
Internal controls
Team leadership and development
